LACL 2012 : Call for System Demonstrations LACL'2012 is the 7th edition of the series of International Conferences on Logical Aspects of Computational Linguistics (http://lacl2012.sciencesconf.org/). LACL 2012 will take place in Nantes, France on July 2-4, 2012. This conference addresses the use of type theoretic, proof theoretic, model theoretic and other logically based formal methods for describing natural language syntax, semantics and pragmatics, as well as the implementation of natural language processing software relying on such methods. Topics of either theoretical or applied interest include, but are not limited to: * logical foundation of syntactic formalisms * logics for semantics of lexical items, sentences, discourse and dialog * applications of these models to natural language processing. In order to stimulate the interest in applications, the conference will for the first time propose a System demonstration session. We are seeking for demonstrations of prototype or professional applications/tools in the domain of computational linguistics relevant to the LACL topics of interest. Demo extended abstracts must be at most of four pages using the standard LNCS Springer LaTeX style (see authors instructions at http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0). Developers should outline the design of their system and provide sufficient details to allow the evaluation of its validity, quality, and relevance to LACL topics. Pointers to web sites running a demo preview will also be helpful. Each system will be shortly presented in a special conference session and during the Demo Session. It may also be completed by a poster. Participants should use their own laptop for the demos. The organizers should be contacted in case of any special requirements. The demo extended abstracts should be submitted in PDF format by email at the address lacl2012-demo@sciencesconf.org The submissions will be reviewed by the Demo program committee using the standards of excellence associated with the LACL conferences. A single review evaluation process will be based on novelty, relevance, and scientific contribution. The selected submissions will be published in the Demo Session proceedings on the conference site.
